Getting a clean signature image
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen. Photograph it in daylight, straight from above, so it doesn't look slanted. Crop tightly around the signature before uploading. "Fit with white border" is already selected, so the full signature is kept without being cut off.
Need 10 KB?
Change the max file size to 10. Signatures are simple images, so even 10 KB usually looks clean. If the lines become fuzzy, make the pixel size a little smaller.

What size should a signature image be?
It varies by form; many use about 140 × 60 px. Use the size in your notice.
Black or blue ink?
