Static codes that never expire
Many QR code sites create "dynamic" codes that send people through their own servers and stop working when a free trial ends. The codes made here are static: the link or text is stored inside the pattern itself, so the code works for as long as the destination exists. There is no tracking and no sign-up.
Wi-Fi QR codes
Guests can join your network by pointing their camera at the code, without typing a long password. This is popular in cafés, offices, Airbnb rentals and clinics. Most iPhones and Android phones support it in the built-in camera app.
Printing tips
Print at least 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) wide for close scanning, and larger for posters viewed from a distance. Dark code on a light background works best. Leave a clear margin around the code, and always scan a printed test copy before ordering hundreds of flyers.
