Meeting a KB limit
Many online forms, especially exam and job applications in India, ask for a photo under 20 KB, 50 KB or 100 KB, and a signature under 10–20 KB. Enter the limit in the max file size box. The tool lowers the JPG quality step by step until the file fits, keeping as much detail as it can.
Crop or fit?
"Crop to fill" fills the whole frame and trims the edges, which suits most ID photos. "Fit with white border" keeps the entire image and adds white bars, useful for signatures and documents.
Photo tips
Use a plain white or off-white background, face the camera straight on, keep a neutral expression and avoid shadows. Most passport offices reject photos taken with glasses.
