Decimal feet are not feet and inches
The converter gives decimal feet, so 5.58 ft does not mean 5 ft 58 in or 5 ft 5.8 in. Multiply the part after the point by 12 to get inches: 0.58 × 12 = 7 inches, so 5.58 ft is about 5 ft 7 in. Forms in the US and UK usually want feet and inches; India and Pakistan often accept either.
