Which case to use
Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence. It's the easiest to read and the usual choice for body text and many modern headlines.
Title Case capitalises the main words and leaves short words such as "and", "of" and "the" in lowercase unless they come first. Book titles and many US news headlines use it.
UPPERCASE works for short labels and acronyms, but long passages in capitals are harder to read and can come across as shouting.
Cases for programmers
camelCase is common for JavaScript and Java variables, snake_case for Python and database columns, and kebab-case for web addresses and CSS class names. The converter splits on spaces, punctuation and existing capital letters, so "Monthly Sales Total" becomes monthlySalesTotal, monthly_sales_total or monthly-sales-total.
Names and proper nouns
Sentence case can't know which words are names, so check names like "London" or "Priya" after converting and capitalise them by hand if needed.
